By RFI:Pakistani rescue officials say there is no sign of any survivors from Wednesday's passenger plane crash near Islamabad. Airblue flight 202 carrying 152 people  was travelling from Karachi and was preparing to land in the country’s capital when it crashed in the Margalla hills.Ambulances and helicopters were dispatched to the densely wooded area, where thick smoke could be seen.
“Apparently the cause of the crash is bad weather, but we leave that to the investigators,” Airblue spokesperson Raheel Ahmed told the AFP news agency.Five injured survivors were airlifted to hospital, while emergency teams on the ground were being hampered by the hilly location.“They are scanning the entire area. Those wounded or survivors are being provided assistance,” Interior Minister Rehman Malik said in an interview with Express TV.Airblue was founded in 2004 and flys from Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Muscat and Manchester.
